Are you patient, compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others? Join Empowered Milestones, LLC. as a Life Skills Coach and support individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges in building independence, confidence, and essential daily living skills.
We provide individualized support tailored to each client's needs, goals, and preferences, empowering them to live meaningful lives with dignity, choice, and as much independence as possible.
📋 Requirements
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in the East Bay area
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state industry standards
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, email, and data entry
🧑🤝🧑 What You'll Do
- Coach clients in independent living skills, including cooking, budgeting, and personal hygiene
- Encourage, motivate, and support clients in achieving their individual goals
- Help plan and organize weekly goals, activities, and schedules
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress through case notes
- Promote independence, confidence, and personal growth through individualized support
